Ben Richter

Ben was born and raised in Lafayette, IN, where both of his parents worked in the disability services industry. This had a profound effect on his understanding of people with different needs and abilities. From developing friendships with the people his parents helped serve or volunteering at the annual Christmas party for individuals served, Ben spent much of his formative years in the world of disability services. Ben began his work with remote supports straight out of college. Having graduated from Ball State University, he joined Rest Assured in 2018 as an Assistant Technician. He worked his way up to Communications Coordinator, developing a strong understanding of remote supports, the intersection of tech and human services, and disability policy and regulations. Aside from a knowledge of disability technology, Ben excels at marketing strategy, graphic design, and business-to-business communication. Ben is thrilled to have the opportunity to apply these skills for Night Owl, helping to provide and expand their remote supports services across the country. Ben currently resides in Farmington, AR with his wife and their two Boston Terriers, Gustave & Happy. In his free time he likes to read, write (he's even self-published a novel), watch Cardinals baseball, and spend time with his family.
